Weet jij hoe hoog de hoogste boom ter wereld is? En heb je zijn kleinere broertje hier in de Hortus wel eens gezien? Voor alle kinderen is er nu de Plantentoppers-plattegrond. Op deze plattegrond staan 15 recordhouders uit de plantenwereld. En natuurlijk de plekjes in de Amsterdamse Hortus waar je ze kunt vinden. Sommige planten staan buiten in de tuin, andere groeien in de tropische kas of de woestijnkas. Je kunt de plattegrond bekijken via de website of gratis ophalen bij de portier van de Hortus. De plattegrond is het gehele jaar door beschikbaar.

Do you know how tall the tallest tree in the world is? Did you see its little brother here in the Hortus? The Hortus presents the Superplants for children of all ages. On the Superplants map you will find 15 record keepers in the world of plants. And, of course, the location in the Hortus where they can be found. Some of the plants grow in the garden, others in the tropical greenhouse or the desert greenhouse. The Superplants map is available on our website. You can also collect the map at the entrance of the Hortus in Amsterdam. It is available for free throughout the year (also in English!).
